I moved here from Chicago in October 1974 with a Volvo and a small U-Haul, via the Badlands and straight to Rapid City. I can move again and am so eager I am like a teapot slowly brewing for my new life.
The days have gotten colder already. I drive 100 miles round-trip to work. I love driving and listening to BBC i-pod downloads or Leonard Cohen at night or Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band Hammersmith Odeon, London 1975. The back up band cannot be beat! Saxophone wails on my drive, delicious!
Last winter I was snowed in most of my 4 day weekends I work. It was a wonderful adventure but I am not looking forward to doing it again. I am going to stop for now because I am not sure I am musing in the proper area of this blog.
