I adore baseball, it is my #1 release and escape. Since I work every weekend, it is quite a loss to my spirit to not have my ballgames, to sit on my screened in porch and get some beer, and look in my porch windows at the tv, and pretend I am in the bleachers at Wrigley Field. I hoot and hollar and have great neighbors.
The Rockies and Phillies game last night was great. What baseball!! how great is baseball? I miss going to White Sox games like I did when I lived in Chicago and my girlfriend Valerie who could get us great box seats behind the on deck circle at Wrigley. What a life it was.
To watch a great ballgame and then dancing with the stars, wow, I danced my way to the kitchen. It was my idea of a perfect day off, an evening at home. My paradise. I miss dancing when I do my radio show. I put dance music on for a good half hour and I didn’t wait too long to start it up.
We have weather like the Denver/Rockies area-snow on the ground this morning, sleet and blowing blowing blowing. I love it. If I was a bit braver I would go out with my camera, but my home is too cosy to leave.
I dreamed about my dogs, but the kitties Hendrix and Raphael slept on my heart.
I am going to catch up on my New York magazines and Psychologies today.
