It is supposed to snow tomorrow, one to two inches. It was snowing when I drove my 50 miles home last Sunday. I think I hydroplaned twice. At midnite when I left for home, the snow was right into the headlights, like in the spooky movies. Makes one feel like the car is spinning and watching the line on the highway is a good idea. As I drove down from the higher hills, the snow turned to a pounding rain.
One of my kids last weekend had a bad day. I called him my, “precious pumpkin” because he gives it right back if I tease him. This little thug of a kid goes past my office and winks and can break my heart to give him some chocolate. I don’t think he ever has had a home visit. When he had a restraint last weekend, he cussed terrible at some staff, but he only called me a nasty redhead. I thanked him because he didn’t refer to my obvious gray hair before the red came along.
After a 7am appointment with the dentist today (can’t blame him if he and his staff take Mondays off), I went to the bookstore and got Uk’s Hello magazine, UK In Style magazine, and of course my favorite Psychologies.
I looked to buy a suitcase that wouldn’t be like tugging a Volkswagon thru the airport and customs and on the tube and up and down the steps. First trip to UK and had a huge huge suitcase. Russell finally got it up the steps to his flat, and the I remarked I didn’t know it would be so cold in April and I needed to go get some socks and slippers. Russ told me he couldn’t believe I had a suitcase heavy enough to break thru to the apartment below, and first thing I had to do was shop.
I am going to look around and see if they have any All Souls Day thing going on
at Highgate Cemetery. When we were there before we didn’t get the tour. All Souls Day when Brooke and I went to Lourdes 3 years ago and took the train from Toulousse to Lourdes was a magical train ride with a full moon -total surprise to see the flowers in all the cemeteries.
The news locally past 3 days is who shot the injured moose in Deerfield. Things change, I hope.
